If your ticket is not dismissed or the fine amount is not reduced after completing the two required steps, you are eligible for a full refund. To qualify, simply submit written proof — such as a Minute Order or Court Docket from the court — showing that you contested your ticket at the New Trial (Trial de Novo) within 30 calendar days of the Trial de Novo date. Once verified, we will refund 100% of your service fee within 7 business days.
Please note:
Refunds will not be issued if the TR-205 (Trial by Declaration) and TR-220 (Trial de Novo) forms provided by Dismissal Pros were not used.
If your case is in the San Mateo Courthouse — Northern Branch (1050 Mission Road, South San Francisco, CA 94080), this refund policy does not apply, as that court does not process Trial de Novo requests. In that specific case, if you lose at the Trial by Declaration stage, you will not be eligible for a refund since a new trial cannot be requested.
Rush processing fees are non-refundable.
