If your ticket was not dismissed or the fine amount was not reduced after having followed the two steps, just submit written proof (Minute Order or Court Docket from the court) that you have contested your ticket at the New Trial (Trial De Novo) within 30 calendar days from the date of the New Trial(Trial De Novo) and we will refund 100% of the service fee within 5 business days. We cannot offer a refund if the TR-205 (trial by declaration) and TR-220 (trial de novo) forms we provided were not used.
1. Your ticket is not dismissed and the fine amount is not reduced through Trial by Declaration, and
2. Your ticket is contested at the New Trial(Trial De Novo) and the ticket is not dismissed and the fine amount is not reduced.
If your court is San Mateo Courthouse — Northern Branch, at 1050 Mission Road. South San Francisco, CA 94080, the refund policy WILL NOT apply as this court does not process Trial De Novo (new trial) requests. If you end up losing in the trial by declaration step. You will not be eligible for a refund since you will be unable to request the new trial.
